COURT OF HONOR & HALLOWEEN WOODS
OCTOBER 2012 PACK MEETING

What: Pack meetings, which include participation by all dens, are the official gathering of the Pack and are conducted with various purposes and locations.  Among other things, they serve to honor scouts with awards, convey Pack information, and conduct ceremonies or other events.

The October 2012 Pack meeting will be the annual Court of Honor, followed by Halloween Woods and the Webelos II Campout.

In collaboration with our friends at Troop 20, we have a serene pack meeting honoring scouting tradition.  The pack meeting is held outdoors, weather permitting, otherwise indoor.

After the pack meeting, scouts and their families may choose to walk through the Halloween Woods, a scary trail designed, constructed & staffed by the Troop 20 Boy Scouts.  Not recommended for very young children who scare easy.  After Halloween Woods, refreshments are served inside the Troop 20 cabin.

Only the Webelos II den may sleep overnight at Troop 20 this night.
Where: Boy Scouts Troop 20 Cabin (click for directions)
When: See Pack 460 Calendar for specific dates and times.
Why: The Family Picnic fosters the Cub Scout purposes of Character Development, Spiritual Growth, Good Citizenship, Family Understanding, Respectful Relationships, Personal Achievement, Friendly Service, Fun and Adventure, and Preparation for Boy Scouts!

Also, Halloween Woods is a fundraiser for Troop 20.
