MAY 2012 PACK MEETING:
CUB SCOUTS CROSSOVER

What: Pack meetings, which include participation by all dens, are the official gathering of the Pack and are conducted with various purposes and locations.  Among other things, they serve to honor scouts with awards, convey Pack information, and conduct ceremonies or other events.

The May 2012 Pack meeting will be the annual Cub Scouts Crossover Ceremony.  This is a bridging ceremony to advance scouts to the next level: for example Tiger to Wolf, Wolf to Bear, etc.
This is a big deal for the scouts, since it rewards their year-long work with rank advancement.

This also serves as the unoffcial end to the Scout year, with transition to Pack summertime activities and fewer, if any den meetings for Tigers, Wolves and Bears.
Where: Troop 20 Cabin
When: May 4, 2012

Scouts arrive at 6:45 PM to be prepared for a 7:00 PM Pack Meeting
Why: Regular Pack meetings are required per BSA requirements.

Pack meetings foster all Cub Scout purposes: Character Development, Spiritual Growth, Good Citizenship, Sportsmanship and Fitness, Family Understanding, Respectful Relationships, Personal Achievement, Friendly Service, Fun and Adventure, and Preparation for Boy Scouts!
Pack 460 Event Coordinator: See Pack 460 Contacts for coordinator information.
What to Bring: Nothing.  Refreshments will be provided after the Pack Meeting.
What to Wear: Scouts should wear their Class A uniforms for the Pack meeting.
